Highlights

I am so proud of the Ruby 2025, the plane I co-designed with Gernot Bruckmann. Only three exist today: I built two (one for Gernot and one for myself), and Maxime Schmitt built his own. Seeing all three take the podium in F3P was unbelievable! 🥇🥈🥉 This airplane is a significant step forward in F3P, offering unmatched precision, smooth flight paths, and dynamic braking for slower downlines. Stay tuned, I’ll be writing a detailed article soon about the Ruby 2025, its design, and construction.

From February 2nd to 8th, 2025, the F3P World Championship in Widen, Switzerland, was an intense and unforgettable week.A huge thank you 🙏 to the entire organizing team, officials, jury, judges, and volunteers for their outstanding work. Everything was perfectly executed. Congratulations to all participants!

I used the Ruby 2025 in F3P, the Extra 330LX in F3P-AFM, and Matteo the Extra 300 dragon.

🏆 Our Results:

• Matteo: 🥉 3rd in F3P-AFM Junior, 16th in F3P-AFM Overall
• Sylvain: 🥉 3rd in F3P, 8th in F3P-AFM
• Team Switzerland: 🥈 2nd in F3P Team Classification

💪 A Proud Father Moment: I’m thrilled for my son, Matteo (Matt), who earned 🥉 3rd place in F3P-AFM Junior! Over the last months of preparation—including training competitions in Arbent (December), Selestat (January), and the Swiss Championship—he has grown so much. 🌟 Seeing him excel on the world stage was a proud moment for me. 💙
